All members in the OUAZ Leadership Program are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct, reflecting the values of our university, our faith, and the spirit of competitive athletics.

  • Integrity and Sportsmanship: Compete with integrity, fairness, and good sportsmanship at all times. This includes respecting opponents, officials, coaches, and teammates.

  • Faith-Based Principles: Embody Christian principles in all interactions, demonstrating humility, self-control, and a positive attitude, regardless of game outcomes.

  • Teamwork and Unity: Prioritize the team's success over individual glory. Support and encourage teammates, and work collaboratively towards common goals.

  • Discipline and Dedication: Demonstrate discipline on and off the field, committing to practices, training, academic responsibilities, and maintaining peak physical condition.

  • Respect for Authority: Show respect for coaches, staff, university administration, and program leadership. Follow instructions and adhere to team rules and policies.

  • Accountability: Take responsibility for your actions and decisions. Learn from mistakes and strive for continuous improvement.

  • Positive Representation: Understand that you represent OUAZ and the baseball program. Conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to the university and our Christian values. Serious infractions, especially those involving legal or ethical violations, may also lead to university disciplinary action. We reserve the right to modify these rules as necessary to maintain the integrity and success of the program.
